Whitehaven is an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our vision is to invest in the physical and spiritual vitality of the African people. One hundred percent of the profits from our safaris are directed to carefully vetted mission organizations, missionaries, ministries, and pastors serving the beloved people of Africa.

About Whitehaven
Located in the Limpopo Valley region, the wild and untamed beauty of Whitehaven’s 3,000 acres is undeniable. This family-run property is rich with large Bushvelds, vast grasslands, and towering South African acacia trees. Although water is scarce in this semi-desert valley, Whitehaven boasts flowing streams and ponds, attracting and sustaining a vast array of animals.
Our property is teeming with an abundance of game, including: gemsbok, zebra, springbok, blesbok, impala, wildebeest (black and blue), kudu, hartebeest, eland, oryx, honey badger, and bushpig. Additionally, we have access to our partner’s adjacent 30,000 acres, which allows us to tailor your hunt locally and guarantee you get the adventure you came for.
All of our hunts are led by a licensed Professional Hunter and guided by an expert native tracker. Whether your sites are set on taking down a massive kudu or staring in awe at the majestic giraffes roaming our property, Whitehaven offers an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Accommodations
Welcome to our main camp in Elandsbosch, near the town of Lephalale, just a four-hour drive from Johannesburg and O.R. Tambo International Airport. Here we ensure guests are warmly received and beautifully looked after by our superb staff. The main lodge and chalets are built in the old style of reed and thatch.
We have five chalets and three separate rooms in the main lodge, allowing us to accommodate up to 16 guests. By limiting our guests we can ensure everyone receives the most individualized attention possible. Our camp is family friendly with a large lounge, pool table, spa-like swimming pool, and shooting range.
Delicious South African home cooking will greet you at each meal. Depending on the season, evening meals are either taken al fresco under the stars or in our comfortable, centrally located bar and dining area. Whatever you need, we will tend to each detail of your experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority!
